Mark Van Grouw, 57, “engaged the victim in multiple sexual acts” between 1990 and 1995 at his home in Blairstown, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said in a joint release Friday.
The abuse began when the victim was 10 years old, Pfeiffer added.
Van Grouw, of Dutch Hill Road, was charged with two counts each of first-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, as well as four counts of second-degree sexual assault.
He was being held in the Warren County Jail after an initial court appearance on Thursday, Jan. 19.
